Croatian island Vis – divespot Nova Pošta

The divespot Nova Pošta is located about 10 min with boat, northwest of the city Vis. From the little bay you can dive northeast around the rock needle or go directly east through a little tunnel near the surface down to about 5m. Through a kind of archway you come to the wall. At the bottom is a cave or cavern with nice yellow sponges. You may also find scorpionfishes, lobsters and so on. When you go up with right shoulder to the wall you reach a chimney from round about 28m to 14m. You can pass the chimney, but of course a pretty working lamp and a calm buddy is needed and you shouldn’t have problems with claustrophobia. On the way back to the boat the possibility for staying a few minutes 8n shallow water with fishes and so on is comfortable. You can see some pictures of the divespot and a video about passing the chimney. Enjoy – Stephan
